Who is Gabriel Anguiano?
Gabriel Anguiano is a 2nd grader at High Tech High elementary. I decided to interview my
brother because I thought everyone was going to interview people who they look up to or older relatives, so the idea of interviewing a 2nd grader was gonna bring attention to my interview also because kids usually are honest and don't let society affect their thinking or their
perspective on thing. What I learned from this interview was that we usually think kids don't
notice the problems in a family but what happens is the opposite, they notice and understand all the things a family go through. When I first told my brother I was going to interview him he got really excited but that was it, after I interviewed him he told everything to my mom and told her that it made him feel really special since I had picked him out of all of our relatives and family members. Someone who I wanna do this with is Mathew Tafoya, because I wanna know more about the past of his family and more about his point of view on our generation because I've heard that he has some interesting theories that I look forward to share with our community when I finally get to interview him.

The reason why we did this Project.
We started this project with the purpose of sharing the amazing untold stories of the people in
our community, this project was inspired in The Humans of New York. We started this project by looking at the website of the humans of new york, and a video that was the guy who started that website explaining the purpose of his "project"and he showed some parts where he was taking notes on the stories of the people he took pictures of, so basically The Humans of South Bay is inspired out of his project.

The process of the project.
So as I explained before we started by looking at the Humans of New York, then we began
brainstorming ideas of how to get our future interviewees to be open up and feel comfortable
when they tell us their stories, ideas that could get interviewees to not feel so awkward since at the beginning of an interview a lot of people feel uncomfortable. Once we were done with that we practiced interviewing with our peers and performing examples of what a good or bad
interview looks like. After getting some help from a local actress that made us do a fun interview practice where both the interviewee and the interviewer always had to say "yes and"to whatever they said, we moved on to coming up with questions that involved what we practiced earlier (questions that could get the interviewee to open up)that we could use in our real interview, after severals drafts of this we did our interview with whoever we wanted to, we had to upload the recording of the interview to google classroom, and start doing the interview
outline, then the interview script. Lastly we ended this project by choosing the golden paragraph of our interview, printing out along with the picture of our interviewee and display it.
