Rather than being nervous about exhibiting with other professionals, I am excited to show and talk about all my products, because me and my group have worked so hard to develop our ideas. This semester we have researched so much about all aspects and areas of depression and read The Depression Cure which was also really informative and interesting. I am always eager to learn about new things and I never thought there were ways to cure depression without medication and Therapy, So reading about this was definitely eye opening for me, I don’t think a lot of people know about the Therapeutic Lifestyle Change program. I am looking forward to sharing everything I learned about depression and about TLC with people who aren’t as informed on this mental illness and also discussing our topic with professionals because It’s always good to gain or try to understand a different perspective, as I learned from the depression cure "The human body was never designed for the modern-post industrial environment" which means that getting together with professionals and sharing our knowledge goes back to the lifestyle of hunter gatherers where humans shared everything with each other through gatherings. Having everything ready to go and planned thoroughly really speaks about a person’s professionalism and as we have learned through the many POL’s we have done in the past, confident body language, making eye contact and hand movement while explaining or talking about our products will also be something that we’ll do at the NAMI Walk, and most importantly, being prepared to respond to any kind of questions we’re asked, and have an idea of what we’ll say about our products. I am excited and I am confident to have conversations with professionals about this very important topic, the only thing I am scared of is messing up my facts or having nervous body language.
